Throughout time and various cultures, a conversation pit has been a physical space that has provided a place to rest, reflect, socialize, and plan. Reaching its maximum popularity in North America during the 1970s and 80s, its prominence in public spaces has faded, but its importance in being a needed platform for idea exchange has not.

The Conversation Pit Virtual Arts Space aims to bring this spirit of public interplay into an online salon. By showcasing the work of selected British Columbian Artists we hope to provide a much needed connection for the public to access the work of these artists, and provide the artists with a place to show their work.
